On February 15, government of Urad Middle Banner, Inner Mongolia signed a new energy investment framework agreement with Linyuan Group. According to the agreement, Linyuan Group will invest RMB37 billion (USD5.39 billion) in constructing new energy related projects in Urad Middle Banner, including a 6.5GWh Li-battery production project, 4GWh vanadium redox flow battery project, 200MW/800MWh VRB and energy storage project, 3GW collective plus distributive wind power project, and 1GW collective plus distributive photovoltaic power project.
