On May 4, Inner Mongolia issued the implementation plan for carbon peaking in the industrial sector. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), the autonomous region will further optimize the industrial structure and energy mix and significantly increase the share of non-fossil energy consumption. By 2030, Inner Mongolia aims to see major breakthroughs in improving industrial structure and energy mix, with a green, low-carbon, recyclable and sustainable industrial system basically established.
