VN Bidding Prices Are Under Pressure, And Vanadium Raw Materials Are In A Stalemate

www.ferroalloynet.com: Summary of transaction prices of vanadium products: vanadium-nitrogen alloy is 142,000-144,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance), ferrovanadium is 104,000-106,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance); retail V2O5 flake is 93,000-94,000 CNY/Ton in cash; and ammonium metavanadate is 88,000-89,000 CNY/Ton in cash.

The bidding price of vanadium-nitrogen alloy at the beginning of this week continued to be under pressure and fell to 142,000-144,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance). Some traders’ inquiries are expected to drop to around 138,000 CNY/Ton in cash. However, vanadium-nitrogen alloy manufacturers still have few spot stocks, and most are unwilling to sell at low prices; downstream inquiries have decreased, and most manufacturers have suspended quotations today to wait and see the market. Ferrovanadium manufacturers mostly quoted at 105,000 CNY/Ton in cash, but downstream demand was weak and steel mills continued to lower prices, making it difficult to transact at this price.
