Vanadium-Nitrogen Bidding Prices Remain Weak
www.ferroalloynet.com: Summary of transaction prices of vanadium products: vanadium-nitrogen alloy is 137,000-139,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance), ferrovanadium is 100,000-103,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance); retail V2O5 flake is 90,000-90,500 CNY/Ton in cash, and ammonium metavanadate is 87,000-88,000 CNY/Ton in cash.
In terms of alloys: Vanadium-nitrogen alloy bidding has maintained its weak position, and was priced at around 135,000-137,000 CNY/Ton in cash yesterday; manufacturers’ production cost pressure has deepened, their enthusiasm for quotations has decreased, and the supply of low-priced goods in the market is temporarily scarce. Ferrovanadium tender has been released one after another, but the intensity of price reduction by steel mills has not diminished. The quotations from a small number of ferrovanadium plants have slightly loosened. The market quotations are 101,000-103,000 CNY/Ton in cash; traders’ purchase expectations are mostly within 100,000 CNY/Ton.
