Vanadium-Nitrogen Bidding Prices Are Under Pressure, And Ferrovanadium Continues To Fall

www.ferroalloynet.com: Summary of transaction prices of vanadium products: vanadium-nitrogen alloy is 136,000-137,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance), ferrovanadium is 100,000-101,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance); retail V2O5 flake is 90,000 CNY/Ton in cash, and ammonium metavanadate is 87,000-88,000 CNY/Ton in cash.

In terms of alloys: the bidding price of vanadium-nitrogen alloy continues to be under pressure, with pricing falling to about 136,000-137,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance) yesterday; medium and large scale steel mills have continued to lower prices, and the pressure on vanadium-nitrogen production has deepened, and manufacturers have become less enthusiastic about quoting. Transactions have weakened, and it is difficult to make ferrovanadium transactions at high prices, manufacturers’ quotations have successively dropped to 100,000-101,000 CNY/Ton in cash; however, with the decline in bidding prices, there are few inquiries in the retail market and traders are mainly waiting and watching.
