Vanadium Mine Turns To Solar As Glencore Tackles Sustainable Energy

In a move towards sustainable energy practices, Rhovan, a vanadium mining and processing facility managed by Glencore Ferroalloys, initiates the construction of a 25MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant.
On completion, the energy produced by the PV plant will be fed into Rhovan’s network and is expected to supply approximately 30% of the operations’ annual energy demand.
