Base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange continued to find support during morning trading today, with aluminium continuing its strong momentum following record volumes traded yesterday.

The physical aluminium market in Europe is expected to turn bullish because of significant supply tightness, with more market participants likely to turn away from using metal supplied by Russian aluminium producer Rusal.
