BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 May 23 – As a major ammonium metavanadate producer in Liaoning, Huludao Xinhengtai Environmental Protection Technology Co. would start to resume ammonium metavanadate 98%min production next Monday. They expect to produce around 20t in May and about 90t in April.
“We didn’t produce during the past 3 months due to the lack of raw material, and we solved this problem, so we plan to resume production next Monday,” said a source from this company. They buy spent vanadium catalyst as raw material, which contains V2O5 for around 5%. They expect to produce about 20t this month and could recover to around 90tpm from June.
