Changjiang Iron & Steel announces bidding results for vanadium-nitrogen alloy

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Jul 18 – Anhui Changjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. completed bidding to purchase 50t of vanadium-nitrogen alloy. Its final purchase price for the material came out to be RMB385,000/t (USD75.06/kg V) Inc-VAT delivered D/A six months, up sharply by RMB97,000/t (USD18.91/kg V) from last month but still lower by RMB15,000/t (USD2.92/kg V) from market expectations. The announcement of the bidding results did not bring any resistance to the uptrend in the vanadium-nitrogen alloy market, and market participants still generally expect the prices to rise in the future.
