In the January-October period of this year, Ukraine’s total steel production amounted to 5.38 million mt, compared to 5.26 million in the same period of 2024, according to the data released by the Ukrainian Steel Association Ukrmetallurgprom. 3.32 million mt or 61.7 percent of total steel production was exported, while 2.06 million mt or 38.3 percent was consumed by the domestic market.
