Gibellini Vanadium Project
CleanTech Vanadium’s flagship asset is the Gibellini Vanadium Project, located in the Battle Mountain region of Eureka County, Nevada. This project encompasses a 21 km² area and holds an estimated 127 million pounds of measured and indicated V₂O₅, with an additional 195 million pounds inferred. The operation is designed as an open-pit, heap-leach mine with a low strip ratio of 0.2 and over 60% recovery rates, aiming to produce 99% pure V₂O₅. Notably, the project has secured water and sage credits through a nearby 3,000-acre ranch.
In October 2023, the Bureau of Land Management issued a Record of Decision approving the Environmental Impact Statement for the Gibellini Project, marking a significant milestone toward commencing construction. CleanTech Vanadium aspires to establish the first vanadium mine in North America.
