Vietnam Youngsun Tungsten to produce ferrovanadium in September

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 17 Aug 18 – A Source told Asian Metal that Vietnam Youngsun Tungsten added a production line for ferrovanadium and finished the workshop construction and machine installation. The plant expects to start normal production in early September, with an annual production capacity of 3,000t.
“Our new production line can process around 40t of vanadium slag per day with a production capacity of around 8-9t of ferrovanadium 55%min every day. We have talked with several suppliers of vanadium slag and our raw materials are enough until the end of this year. We plan to start normal production in early September,” said the source, adding that their production for ferrotungsten is still ceased at the moment and they prefer to watch the market further.
