PROVO, Utah — A Silver Alert was issued Monday for a missing 89-year-old Provo man who suffers from dementia.

Provo police say Howard Edwards was last seen Monday morning.

Edwards is 5′ 7″ and weighs 140 lbs, with gray hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing a yellow jacket and tan pants.

Police say he may be headed towards Salt Lake City.
