Shagang Group announces bidding results for vanadium-nitrogen alloy

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Aug 18 – Jiangsu Shagang Group completed bidding to purchase 100t of vanadium-nitrogen alloy with the final purchase price of RMB420,000/t (USD79.75/kg V) Inc-VAT delivered D/A six months, down by RMB2,000/t (USD0.14/kg V) from last purchase. The bidding results fell into the mainstream transaction price range of the market and laid a solid foundation for Chinese vanadium prices to stay at high level.
The company last purchased 80t of vanadium-nitrogen alloy at RMB422,000/t (USD80.13/kg V) Inc-VAT delivered D/A six months on July 20th.
