“I heard that the price for ferrovanadium increased to USD73.0/kg V in the warehouse Rotterdam or higher early this week, so I think the quotation in the Russian spot market would be also go up to about USD86.1/kg V for new buyer from major suppliers. But we get a lower price from our regular supplier of about USD83.2/kg V for July’s contracts about 11t at present, but still up by about USD4.7/kg V compared with June’s contracts about the same volume,” said a Russian ferrovanadium 50%min trader, adding that they would only make purchases at above price after receiving the payments from their clients. He thinks that the price from the supplier would be rarely changed for them next week.
