Largo Hires New President To Head Its VRFB Long Duration Energy Storage Strategy

Largo Resources has appointed Stephen Prince as president of its vanadium redox flow battery firm to advance its long duration energy storage strategy.
Prince will replace Ian Robertson, who was appointed as interim president of Largo Clean Energy (LCE)— a subsidiary of Largo Resources— last July while the firm conducted a formal search for a permanent replacement.
Robertson will continue to serve as co-chair of the company’s Board of Directors and chair of its Clean Energy Committee.
Prince previously served on the board of Austrian vanadium redox flow battery firm Enerox CellCube, and was president of Centrica Business Solutions for North America where he led the deployment of distributed energy and power solutions across the US and Canadian markets.
During his time as CEO of energy storage firm Younicos A, Prince secured $50 million in growth capital and managed a subsequent company sale to FTSE-250 group Aggreko.
