Jinduicheng Molybdenum Co., Ltd Established An All-Vanadium Flow Battery R&D Center
In order to promote the rapid development of the vanadium industry chain, make full use of regional high-quality resources, and create a new profit growth point for the vanadium industry chain, Jinduicheng Molybdenum Industry Group Co., Ltd. established an all-vanadium flow battery research and development center (hereinafter referred to as “all-vanadium flow battery research and development center”) to accelerate the construction of the all-vanadium flow battery project in accordance with the relevant requirements of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Holding Group’s “High-Quality Project Construction Year”, combined with the “14th Five-Year” development plan of Gold Molybdenum Group On April 13.
The all-vanadium redox flow battery R&D center is registered in the High-tech Zone, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. The business scope is the production and sales of vanadium electrolytes and stacks, and the production and sales of integrated products for vanadium energy storage power stations. An electrolyte production line will be built with an annual output of vanadium pentoxide electrolyte of 10,000 m³, and a pilot-scale production line with an annual output of 200 MW of stacks. After completion, an integrated product of vanadium energy storage power station will be built according to market needs.
The all-vanadium redox flow battery R&D center will utilize the vanadium resources and production capacity of Jinduicheng, combine vanadium battery technology to extend the product industry chain, cultivate new profit growth points, and seize the development high point of all-vanadium redox flow battery and new energy storage industry at the same time.
According to reports, the all-vanadium redox flow battery has unique advantages such as high energy conversion efficiency, large storage capacity, free site selection, deep discharge, long battery life, safety and environmental protection, and is considered to be one of the most commercialized energy storage batteries and is especially suitable for application scenarios with long-term energy storage requirements.
