FeNb prices continue moving up

www.ferroalloynet.com: Steel mills increase sharply the purchasing quantity of ferroniobium as vanadium prices continue to surge and the supply of vanadium remains tight. CITIC Metals puts the long-term customer to the first place and suspend supplying to other buyers. Recently, the transaction prices of small tonnages of ferroniobium keep rising and now stand in a range of 330000-355000 rmb/ton, with offering prices at 350000 rmb/ton or more. Three ferroniobium manufacturers respectively in Jiujiang and Shangrao of Jiangxi Province and Guangdong Province quote at 310000 rmb/ton. Whereas, the inventories are low, so steel mills increase their purchaisng prices to 320000 rmb/ton.
