China’s crackdown on pollution has prevented over 1,000 zinc mines across the country from ramping up production, stopping miners from cashing in on the metal’s recent price rally, sources in China told Metal Bulletin. Warehousing firm Access World is not liable for damages in the nickel fraud lawsuit between brokerage Marex Spectron and Natixis SA, it has claimed in court documents obtained by Metal Bulletin.
